Collecting funds

"Brot für die Welt" ("Bread for the World") receives its funds from:

• donations made by private persons
• church collections
• campaigns and initiatives organized by parishes/communities, school action groups, companies, etc
• financial help from the EU

A lot of imagination and creativity goes into collecting the small contributions which make up the financial basis of "Brot für die Welt". These have enabled "Brot für die Welt" to assist the development efforts of its partners in Africa, Asia and Latin America for over 40 years. Around 1.5 billion Euros have been collected since 1959.
